Parent's bulletin, important datesBlackfield Primary School

We are pleased to welcome you to Blackfield Primary School.

The school is a Foundation Primary School catering for boys and girls from rising 5’s to 11 years of age and currently has over 500 pupils.

The School is federated with Fawley Infant School and forms a key part of the Blackfield Community.

At Blackfield Primary School we firmly believe that children only get one chance at education and we are committed to providing the very best for the children and we believe that this means a great deal more than simply those results that can easily be tested and presented in tables. Primary schooling should be about developing children’s learning attitudes and their characters so that they will want to go on learning for ever, and although this means very high standards in English and Maths, it means so much more besides. So welcome to our school, perhaps your school now as well! We have high expectations and we work hard, but we have a great deal of fun as well and really value the laughter and the fun that should be a part of learning.

This website will provide you with most of the information you will need to know about our school but it will not allow you to experience the uniqueness of Blackfield Primary School. The only way to do this is to come in and meet our outstanding team.

With best wishes

Mrs Claire Lowe
